The Atlanta based company solves the problem of overly expensive weddings by pairing brides whom are ready to make a buying decision with wedding vendors whom are willing to compete in a head-to-head competition in exchange for the business of the bride.
With the total value of the wedding industry soaring to more than $60 billion in the year 2008, combined with the fact that there were a total of 2.1 million marriages in the U.S., the conditions of the marketplace continue to prove constant and ideal for such technological advances as reverse auctioning.
Auction Bridal is seeking $325,000 to complete the development of the company's web based infrastructure. Additionally, this capital will be invested in branding and marketing our services to consumers.
