Looking to bridge an unforseen gap in our post production. Basically, we have a near-complete professional, unionized, insured independent film, but we just had a few investors back out on us for finishing funds. They were supposed to help cover post production costs like visual FX, and post sound mix/ADR. Currently, I need to recover 7 shares (each share is $3000 apiece). The movie is completely shot and edited - all that needs to happen is visual FX and final sound mix. We already have distributor interest and a deal on the table based on the cast (several 'name' actors), but if we wait too long we could miss out on those (along with the film markets in the fall). We have a pretty good track record of getting our projects out into the world via all the "usual" outlets, and the R.O.I. on this project is projected to be pretty high.
