I am looking at starting four monthly city guide type magazines in the Portand, Oregon metro area. Each magazine will be independent, yet they will be part of the media group. We will use the content of the magazines to build a content based website that will also have all the pubs, restaurants, shops, etc on it in the Portland, Oregon metro area. We will be the "Definitive Guide" to Portland, Oregon.

There is no such city guide in Portland, Oregon now. We will be the first to combine four monthly magazines and a website for the Portland community and tourists.

The business plan allows for growth to take place by expanding the website to include other metro areas in the Pacific Northwest. Then we will expand and publish city guides in those areas if advertiser demand is sufficent.

I am looking at raising $350k to fund the company. This money will help create the website, create contant, hire employees and publish the magazines. The money will not be invested all at once, but only through the creating, development and publishing of the website and magazines.

I am confident that the company will be profitable within the first six months and the investors will break even in two years.
